Terminology: ID

In AlgebraKiT, ID‘s are used to distinguish items in the item database. Each exercise, either in the library or in a course has its own ID. An ID consists of 32 random hexadecimal values and 4 dashes.

Example

ID: d065e547-c0cd-4b9e-bcc6-bab577450d02

The ID can be found at multiple locations:

  • In the URL (https://cms.algebrakit.nl/cms/edit/exercise-spec-client/ID)
  • At the right top on the edit page, after the label ID:
  • Using the option button in front of an exercise, by selecting Copy exercise ID to clipboard:

We will ask for the ID of an exercise when you request support on an issue, as this is the unique identifier which item you are referring to.
