At the lefthand side of the screen, a green plus icon is shown below the existing question icons.
Icons to recognize questions
In the case of a single question, the question is indicated with the edit icon in the tab on the lefthand side of the screen.
In case of multiple questions in an exercise, the questions are indicated with the letters a-z in alphabetical order. Default AlgebraKiT behavior is to also show these indicators to a student when making the exercise. They are used as subpart indicators of the exercise. These are customer specific settings. For more information contact your AlgebraKiT representative.

By clicking the plus icon, you can add a new subpart to your exercise. In case you want to add a new question, select New question.
You can now author your new question as you are used to.
